Bag-making investment for Clondalkin
Part of Clondalkin's flexible packaging division, CB Packaging, is looking to expand in the UK multi-wall bag market after their 1,200sqm expansion and machinery upgrade.
CB produces a range of paper sacks for the milk powder, animal feed and construction sectors.
Paul McEnaney, Managing Director, explained that it would help the firm better serve new and existing customers, saying, "There is considerable scope within the construction industry, as well as food and agricultural sectors for the high quality service levels we can deliver over short and medium runs".
CB produces sacks ranging from 5-50kg that can be printed using an eight-colour printing process.
With 40 production facilities across 10 countries in Europe and North America, Clondalkin's flexible packaging, generates sales in excess of EUR 900m.
