Metallic packaging paper launched by Arjowiggins
The Curious Collection paper range manufactured by Arjowiggins has been expanded with a new matt metallic line for high impact packaging.
A range of one-sided metallic substrates called Curious Cosmic, is available in a weight of 360gsm. It can also be enhanced with print techniques or varnishes to appear soft to the touch.
Arjowiggins revamped the Curious Collection in June 2008 year with the help of Dutch trend expert Li Edelkoort, who colour palette creation of 27 metallic and translucent papers. A selection of the colours has been used for the Curious Cosmic line.
Gregoire Alexandre , the French fashion photographer, has taken a series of pictures to show the possibilities of using Curious Cosmic to designers and manufacturers.
Gilles Pelisser, Arjowiggins Creative Papers Marketing Director, said that the "unique metallic finish and soft touch effects of Curious Cosmic will bring an exciting new dimension to the range", and added, "With colours inspired by the latest trends in fashion, we are confident that the Curious Collection will remain at the forefront of creative papers."
