Packaging division to be launched by Italian printer

 

An autonomous division has been formed by Pixart, the Italian web-to-print firm, to meet the growing demand for packaging services.  It has also invested in new machinery to back the launch.

Pixart provide web-to-print services across Europe, and has purchase a new Océ Arizona 350 XT system for flatbed printing boxes.  Also purchased is a new Rabollini die-cutter, which can precision and clean cut boxes, and, has a high-punching platen speed.

The Company has an existing eight Zund plotters, for precise cutting without trimming, and six HP Indigo 7000 printers - used to print small to medium-sized boxes.

They also produce an online catalogue called Ready to Personalise that shows its extended range of packaging services. Contained in the catalogue is a range of information and illustrations of packaging types and designs - promotional, delivery and folders.

The promotional line includes the various shaped and designs of boxes, the delivery line gives Customers stylish and durable packaging.  The folders range offers client folders in various formats.

When a customer has selected a product, a template can be downloaded.  They can then produce personalised graphics, then send the file to print. The packaging is then delivered within 48 hours throughout Europe.
